Jester Journal is an independent index that uses Jev for its reasoning layer and Muse for language, memory, and action, creating a closed loop for trade analysis, execution, and learning.
SignalJev handles the reasoning while Muse acts as the other half of the brain, turning that reasoning into language, memory and action.
We’ve been working on Jester Journal for a while, but everything really started coming together when @typesafeai dropped Jev. Jev gave us the reasoning layer we were looking for. It can process information, challenge its own thinking, weigh different outcomes and decide when there’s actually enough confidence to make a move.
Jev isn’t really built to communicate all of that in normal English, so instead of trying to change it, we built the Jester harness around it. Jev handles the reasoning while Muse acts as the other half of the brain, turning that reasoning into language, memory and action. Muse keeps the journal updated, brings previous trades back into context and helps carry Jev’s decisions through to the actual trading side.
Now Jev + Muse operate more like two parts of one brain. Jev thinks, Muse speaks and remembers, and Jester acts. The harness connects that entire loop to live trading so Jester can analyze a trade, decide whether to take it, execute it, record what happened and carry that experience into the next decision.
