Jev for LeRobot SO-101
Jev is an independent index that can be installed on a LeRobot SO-101 using the quackd CLI, enabling faster and more cost-effective discrete step actions.
If you have a LeRobot SO-101 at home, you can put Jev on it with quackd CLI.
The "--jev on" parameter sits in front of the model and takes the discrete steps (read state, gripper, stop). Angles stay with the LLM.
On turns Jev can answer, which is about 54× faster than the SO-101 wave run’s 6.2 s model calls and about 1/2000th the cost. A grip-check style run waits about 3× less. A wave only gets ~16% shorter, because most calls are joint angles.
Install, register the arm, give it a goal.
No custom code.
